Pilgrimage to Fatima and Lourdes

Visit of places connected to the apparition in Fatima, tiny village Aljustrel, home of visionaries, pasturage at Valinhos where Our Lady also appeared and to the Cova da Iria, the actual place of the apparition where Our Lady of Fatima gave a message to the world through Jacinta, Francisco, and Lucia. Holy Mass in one of the chapels in the Shrine. Dinner and overnight stay in Fatima.

After breakfast and holy mass in FATIMA in the early morning, we leave for Spain for Santiago de Compostela. Along the way stop for lunch, in the late afternoon arrival and the visit to the city of St James - Santiago “Obradorio Plaza” and Cathedral of St. James. Check in to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

We will spend the morning in Santiago, breakfast and holy mass before our pilgrimage journey continues to Burgos, the city of El Cid and many Spanish kings and amazing cathedral. Dinner and overnight in the hotel in Burgos.

In the morning city tour of Burgos and departure to Lourdes. After checking to a hotel, free time before dinner. Time permitting you will have the chance to walk to the shrine of Our Lady of Immaculate Conception. In the evening prayer of the Rosary during the candlelight procession. We are in Lourdes for two nights!

After nice rest in the Pyrenees mountains and breakfast, we are ready for a little walking tour of Lourdes, town, and Sanctuary! Tour of the Shrine of about 2 hours visiting the Grotto of Massabielle where Blessed Virgin appeared 18 times to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. Group will also see The Baths, where one can emerge in the Lourdes miraculous water. A guided tour will also include the visit to all of the places associated with the St. Bernadette. The Bolly Mill on Rue Bernadette Soubirous where the saint was born on the January the 7th, 1844 and it is the place where she spent first years of her life. Group will also visit “Cachot” or jail where Bernadette lived with her family in great poverty at the time of the apparitions, baptismal font where she was baptized in the town church! Afternoon and time for lunch will be on your own. Free afternoon until dinner and in the evening group can participate Candlelight Marian Procession starting every day at 9:00 pm. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Depart Lourdes and drive to Spain, to Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia and explore the colorful markets of Las Ramblas before transferring to our hotel.

After breakfast, we will enjoy a city tour of Barcelona including panoramic views of the Harbor area, Plaza de Espana, and Plaza de Cataluna. We will continue to the Montjuic Hill where we will have a great panoramic view of Barcelona. Afterwards, continue on a guided walk through the Gothic Quarter to visit the Barcelona Cathedral and visit Gaudi's Sagrada Familia, a beautiful, unfinished Roman Catholic basilica of impressive design. Later we are back to our hotel, dinner and second night in Barcelona.

Today after the breakfast we have a whole day in Barcelona free for our activities, an additional visit to museums, shopping, walk along the La Rambla famous Barcelona promenade & most picturesque gothic old town. We will meet at our hotel before going to farewell dinner at one of the Barcelona restaurants.

After breakfast, free morning until transfer to Barcelona Prato airport for flight back home.
