Overview
We are in front of one of the most magnificent monuments in Egypt and the world, which dazzled archaeologists. “The Great Pyramids Complex” on the Giza plateau, is one of the best Cairo tours, including the Sphinx Tour. It was erected on a rocky area on the west bank of the Nile River. In 1979, UNESCO classified the Memphis region’s ancient ruins, including the Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara, Dahshur, Ab Ruwaysh, and Abu Sir, as a World Heritage Site.
The first and the biggest pyramid is named Khufu as it belongs to King Khufu the 2nd king of the 4th dynasty. The 147m pyramid contains many chambers and it is open for visitors. Next of it, we’ll find the middle pyramid of King Chephren and then the 3rd pyramid of King Menkaura.

The Itinerary
- We’ll pick you up at 8 am from the hotel for starting our Cairo Tours by visiting The Pyramids. Start our visit with the largest pyramid of the three main pyramids, the Pyramid of King Khufu. The Pyramid is distinguished by its height, the number of its chambers, and the width of its base. Then moving to visit the Pyramid of King Chephren and Kind Menkaura.
- After visiting The Pyramids, Our next visit will be to The Valley Temple, The royal body was welcomed at the valley temple, which was constructed on the edge of a desert precipice. The Khafre temple, made of enormous granite blocks and covered in enormous slabs of alabaster, is the most stunning temple in the valley. It is incredibly plain but incredibly beautiful.
- After that you’ll have the chance to enjoy our Sphinx Tour, The Great Sphinx is one of the largest sculptures in the world, at 20 meters tall and 73 meters long. It has a lion-like body and a human head with a crown on it.
- Then you’ll have a chance to ride a camel for 30 minutes nearby the pyramids. After that, we’ll have our lunch at a magnificent restaurant overlooking The Sphinx.
- After visiting Giza Plateau, we’ll move to complete our Cairo Tours and visit The Egyptian Museum which is located in heart of Cairo in Tahrir Square. The Museum houses about 120,000 artifacts and antiques and it is considered the largest museum in the Middle East. The building’s architect was chosen through a first-of-its-kind international competition in 1895, which was won by French architect Marcel Dourgnon. Khedive Abbas Helmy II established the museum in 1902, and it has since grown to be a famous landmark in Cairo and one of the most significant Cairo Tours.
- Finally, we’ll move to visit our last destination in Cairo Tours, Khan El-Khalili Bazar which contains marvelous Egyptian and Pharaonic antiques to buy something nice for your friends and family. It is like bringing the scent of old Egypt to them.
